Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care & Wellbeing Offer

Our Commitment: At Tower Hill Community Primary School we believe children thrive academically when they feel safe, valued, and emotionally supported. Our pastoral framework ensures every child receives tailored guidance, building resilience, self-esteem, and positive relationships across their primary school journey.

GRADUATED PASTORAL FRAMEWORK

We operate a three-tiered model of support to ensure children receive the right intervention at the right time, ranging from whole-school wellbeing to targeted specialist care.

UNIVERSAL PROVISIONS (WHOLE SCHOOL)

Social & Emotional Learning

Integrated PSHE lessons taught weekly, covering emotional literacy, physical health, personal safety, and building healthy relationships with peers.

Classroom Wellbeing Corners

Every classroom features a quiet area equipped with self-regulation tools, sensory aids, and emotion check-in boards to help pupils recognise feelings. We use the Zones of Regulation to talk about our emotions.

Positive Behavior Framework

Restorative justice principles guide our behavior policy, encouraging pupils to reflect on choices, mend relationships, and understand emotional impact.

Peer Support & Leadership

Trained Year 6 "Sports Leaders" assist younger children on the playground, fostering inclusion, resolving mild conflicts, and modeling kindness. The children have a number of leadership opportunities available to them
